Yes, I am a traveler. Journeys make life more affluent and enjoyable, spice it, and give a sense of adventure. Sometimes, we need to step out of our comfort zone to experience, and sometimes, we need to get in, to be right there at the most solace place, to get our batteries charged to continue moving on.
That's how I felt at the end of March- The end of winter but a step before the blossomed spring.
The moody weather takes its toll on us, as do stress and the world's issues. I was thrilled to experience the elegant and exquisite Thalasso Hotel—Miramar la Cigale.
It was in the Thermalis salon ( the spa fair that takes place every year in Paris) their name- Miramar la Cigale" captured my attention. One of my favorites Fontaine's fables is - La cigale et la Fourmis ( The Grasshopper and the Ant)

"We are located in the South of Brittany, not far from Vannes," said their public relations manager as she headed me their card.
My eyes sparkled; yes, I would like to be there; I have to try this adventure.
Two months later, I was traveling to Vannes—a most elegant ancient town in the South of Brittany.
Before staying in this luxurious hotel for 4 days, I had to explore the region. I didn't realize the landscape surrounding Miramar would be so picturesque, profound and charged of history

The hotel looks distinct as if it were a cruise boat sailing in the heart of the ocean.
I discovered that the spa was the essence of the place. And I could have explored many sorts of treatments.
As: baths hydromassage, sea-relaxation. Massage Kansu, a healing massage with a Tibetan bowl. And also a facial treatment.
A very professional and receptive staff handled all these excellent massages, with lots of care and attention.
The rooms are located in a vast, bright, and comfortable space. In between the sessions, I enjoyed chilling my self with herbal tea, looking at the sea from the wide windows.

I enjoyed the indoors swimming pool with the water jets.
Each time I left, I was rejuvenated and serene. It was soothing and inspiring to have all these wonderful treatments in this high-quality thalasso and experience all their benefits.
The spa area has a modern and calming design, and the ocean view from the large windows definitely adds to this zen being.
Miramar unique location in Arzon, a town in the Gulf of Morbihan, makes it a must-visit. From the window of my room, I could enjoy the breathtaking panorama of the ocean;

again, I felt as if I was on a cruise without facing seasickness. The water shimmered blue, and the sun was present throughout my weekend.

I loved the surroundings and took a few long walks along the coast. The port de Crouesty is just at the hotel's feet. It felt at the end of march in the sunset, as if the boats were abandoned at the port, waiting for the sailors to come along...I continued walking until I reached the corniche of Port Navalo. The scenic landscape on this walk was inspiring and revitalizing. the hotel is surrounded by an abundant nature.
It was sunny and warm at the end of March, and while walking on the path, I enjoyed the sights of the spring blossom nature and the ocean.
The hotel also has a few restaurants. I dined most of the time in the beautiful restaurant named "Le Safran"

It was a very delicious feast with various choices on the menu.
All the dishes were appetizing, flavorful and healthy, On Sunday evening there is a tradition of seafood buffet, very much expected by the guests.

The staff was professional and helpful, and they were always responsive.

The last day I remembered I hadn't tried the stunning swimming pool on the upper floor just in front of the restaurant. It was convenient to have a sporty swim and then relax in the warm jacuzzi.

Everything has an end, so I had to say "aurevoir" to Miramar la Cigale. I had to leave the "serene ship in the heart of the ocean."
That was just my feeling, as I didn't want to go. Yet the hotel, shaped like a cruise ship, made me feel like I was on the move and sailing somewhere, but where?
I was hovering on a sea of good vibes and incredible sensations. I soaked in this wellness and the calmness of the body as the mind.
It was a thirty-minute drive, and I was back in the lovely and ancient town of Vannes.

I bumped into this old, charming building with the two faces sculpted, they have bewitched me. It seemed Vannes was not only very beautiful, but also quite theatrical. Wandering in the picturesque alleys perfectly continued my fantastical experience in Le Miramar la Cigale.
